Responsibilities
• Design, develop, implement and maintain manufacturing processes for disposable medical devices
• Characterize and select materials for the manufacture of disposable medical devices
• Investigate and implement process modifications and material changes to improve quality, increase yield/efficiency or reduce manufacturing cost
• Validate materials and processes in accordance with FDA standards
• Collect and analyze data to determine areas for process improvement
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
• Work with Product Development group to transfer new products into manufacturing
• Write product evaluation protocols, perform product testing and author engineering reports
• Perform other job related duties assigned"
