Teachers Early Headstart, Headstart, Preschool Jobs - Chicago, IL - Christopher House: "Responsibilities: Develop teaching plans and recommend curriculum innovations and changes to the Director, ECDS; the Manager, Curriculum Programs and to the Site Director. Lead the classroom education team in implementing teaching plans to meet Christopher House objectives. Introduce and teach development skills, including concepts of numbers, shapes, colors, textures, music, etc. Prepare records of observation and maintain periodic progress reports regarding the children. Provide necessary classroom guidance and management in a professional and non-threatening manner. Consult with appropriate Christopher House staff to determine treatment and/or educational plans for individual normal-needs and special-needs children. Share responsibility for classroom maintenance and orderliness."
