Job Description:
Bay Area Community Services is a non-profit, community-based agency servicing primarily Alameda County by providing a comprehensive array of mental health and older adult services. The Woodroe Place Crisis Residential Treatment Program provides clients with a high level of intervention and support designed to shorten psychiatric hospitalizations. The program provides residential services for up to 12 people for an average two-week stay.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the clinical and administrative supervision of the Crisis Residential Treatment Program Director, the Program Coordinator assists the Director in the day-to-day operation of the Crisis Residential Treatment Program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*Essential Functions)
*A. Assist with the day-to-day program operation ensuring proper follow-up with all community agencies in relation to the clients and the program.
*B. Assist in performing and facilitating assessments, the group milieu process and structured day/evening program, using psychosocial rehabilitation and wellness/recovery principles and process.
*C. Participate in staff meetings, training, and other meetings called by the Program Director and/or the Agency."
